              6:00 pm Pennsylvania

Mehek Morgan entered the room with great elation and got scandalised by seeing the lights being off and a luscious smell coming out of the kitchen. She switched on the lights and felt beamed to see the room filled with presents, chocolates and alcohol. She started reminiscing about the same day one year ago dancing whole night with Daniel in the surprise party hosted by Emma Aldrin. ”Emma!!! Where are you? “No one replied. Being in an elated mood, Mehek is expecting a sudden surprise. Now in a louder tone “Emma, where are you?” Her voice got echoed through the walls of the empty room, her heart beat began to break the silence present in the room. Being in an exhilarated mood Mehek started heading towards the kitchen to find Emma. Her body started filling with trepidation on having the sight of the kitchen.

                     6:00 p m California

“What did you see in her she’s just playing a dumb blonde character “- Neil Hamilton. “Intelligent girls are risky, I prefer to watch dumber ones” said  Erwin Limburg as he hit the baseball. ”That was a nice shot. How was work today?” ”Terrible! We were busier than usual” ”why were you so busy” “Many employees were absent than usual” “I hope it isn’t as busy tomorrow”. Smiling at each other they resumed their baseball practise. This time Erwin gave a bigger shot than the previous one, Neil Hamilton headed towards the bushes in search of the ball. ’Erwin is an oracle batsman. He should practise bowling to fathom his battling skills’. He finally grasped the ball and went back to the ground where he was shocked by the spot.

Tap was left unclosed, knife and Clamp crusher was lying on the wet floor, broken pieces of dining plates and glasses were left on the floor in an erratic way. Her body started to tremble with fear when she saw blood-strains on the floor leading a path to the garden out through the back door. In a shuddering voice, Mehek shouted “EMMA…ARE YOU THERE”, copious thoughts were now flooding in Mehek’s mind ‘where is Emma…whose blood is that? Is it Emma’s…What happened to her? Is she kidnapped? '

He is petrified by seeing Erwin’s mobile lying on the ground in a broken condition and bat still rotating. Neil shouted-“ERWIN”…”ERWIN ARE YOU THERE”. Neil wondered as in Pasadena this is a place where men are daunted to come, as it is unruly and prone to danger. Neil got bewildered when he saw Erwin’s bag.

Suddenly the phone started ringing, it is an unknown number calling from New Jersey “WELCOME HOME MORGAN”...Mehek couldn’t recognise this gruff and terrifying voice. Mehek responded “Can I know your name?” terrifying voice continued “WHO I AM IS NONE OF YOUR CONCERN…I WILL LEAD YOU TO EMMA IF YOU GIVE ME WHAT I WANT”
